CanSAGE Reflections

CanSAGE held our 7^th Annual Conference in Victoria, BC from Sept 26 to 28, 2024. The conference kicked off with a keynote lecture from Dr. Erin Carey on improving MIGS access to underserved populations and was followed by captivating plenaries on topics such as artificial intelligence in medicine, integration of learners of all levels, surgery with congenital anomalies, and the malignant transformation risks related to endometriosis.

We hosted a sold-out social night event at the Victoria Public Market where the highlight of the night was a group lesson from professional salsa dancers. We ended our conference with an enlightening plenary on managing burnout and improving wellness.
