Supporting Global Health
This year, the FAAGL is raising funds to advance the AAGL’s new Global Health Program (AGHP)—a comprehensive initiative that unites all AAGL services, including SurgeryU, JMIG, FMIGS, and EMIGS, to deliver structured education, mentorship, and equipment support for programs in low-resource settings.
As the fundraising arm of the AAGL, the Foundation supports this and many other vital initiatives that extend the AAGL’s mission worldwide.
The first AGHP programs include:
- Hem Practice in Kenya, seeking educational support for up to 50 physicians.
- McKinney Foundation in Grenada, in need of essential medical supplies and equipment.
Looking ahead, we aim to build a sustainable AGHP Fund to expand support for future programs. Each $1,500 raised funds one program of five physicians for an entire year. The more funds we raise, the more global programs we can support through the AGHP!
A Night of Art, Purpose, and Celebration
Funds will be raised through both live and silent auctions, hosted by renowned Vancouver auctioneer Howard Blank. Prepare to bid on exclusive prizes—including observerships, luxury getaways, fine spirits, and inspirational artwork.
Something special this year: we invited Vancouver artists to create original pieces inspired by women’s health and the work of the AAGL. The response was extraordinary! The top selections will be featured in the silent auction and displayed during the FAAGL event.
Looking to add a meaningful piece to your collection at home or work? Don’t miss your chance—larger pieces can be shipped, so come ready to bid!
