26th Annual Advanced Workshop on Gynecologic Laparoscopic Anatomy and Minimally Invasive Surgery
The 26th Annual Advanced Workshop on Gynecologic Laparoscopic Anatomy and Minimally Invasive Surgery with Emphasis on the Laparoscopic Treatment of Endometriosis was another incredible success, bringing together participants and faculty for two days of interactive surgical education and collaboration.
The course featured a comprehensive curriculum of expert-led didactic lectures covering pelvic anatomy, electrosurgery, ultrasound mapping for endometriosis, surgical management of advanced endometriosis, techniques for large hysterectomy, and the recognition and management of surgical complications. Participants also enhanced their laparoscopic suturing skills through simulation before transitioning to hands-on cadaveric suturing.
The cadaveric portion of the course provided a unique opportunity for participants to apply these concepts through laparoscopic retroperitoneal dissection, pelvic anatomy exploration, suturing, and endometriosis excision techniques. With a low faculty-to-learner ratio of three participants per cadaver, attendees received individualized faculty guidance from an exceptional group of internationally recognized faculty.
